MERS疫情感染人數仍在持續攀升，今天(15號)又再新增5例確診，2例死亡，目前有150人染MERS，16人死亡。日前，三星首爾醫院才傳出救護車司機院外感染MERS，今天又再確診一名曾搭乘同輛救護車的救護人員染病。國內感染科專家表示，這代表三星醫院「感染管控」做得非常不好，應該要完全封院。(黃仲丘報導)
三星首爾醫院，日前確診一名救護車司機感染MERS，15號又再確診一名一位曾搭乘同車的救護人員感染。根據疫調，這名醫護人員，是在6月5至6日搭乘這個駕駛的救護車被傳染。目前三星首爾醫院，已經有71名確診病例，並且在14號宣布「部份封院」，暫停大部分服務。
中國醫藥大學附設兒童醫院感染科主任黃高彬表示，同車醫護人員連穿戴N95防護防護口罩都會感染，很可能是口罩緊密度試驗並未納入感控SOP所導致。黃高彬說：「或許這個案例就是他當時沒有穿好，最重要就是說他的口罩是不是不合適，麗如說他的臉剛好很小，他戴了一個很大的口罩，當然就會漏氣，就會發生感染。所以我們目前需要作到密合度的試驗，就是這個樣子。」
黃高彬表示，台灣醫護人員從SARS之後，已經要求各醫院針對患者的相關接觸醫護人員，必須進行口罩密合度試驗，由於不會戴到「不合適」的口罩，醫護人員的感染機會是相對較低。由於亞洲人臉型較西方人小，醫護人員多半是攜戴SS的最小型號。
他表示，三星首爾醫院的醫護人員接連感染，代表感染管控作得非常不好，需要大大檢討。對於目前僅作「部份封院」，他表示在還沒辦法確定醫院哪邊是乾淨的情況下，「完全封院」才是比較恰當。
黃高彬說，雖然目前南韓還沒有社區感染的直接證據，但是南韓急需檢討院內感染控制的執行，如果沒有改善仍然可能會有社區感染。建議民眾，如果沒有必要暫時不要前往南韓，等到七八月疫情緩和再說。
